Heidi the Dog Trainer
As the 25th year of my career as a decorated Atlantic City Police Officer drew to a close, I decided to share my passion for dogs and commitment to positive based dog training by starting Four on the Floor Dog Training in Mays Landing. For over 10 years I’ve helped hundreds of families raise and train their puppies and given troubled dogs a better life.
Heidi the Dog Handler
All of the SoraBully’s Bull Terriers are trained and shown by me. Since my first show dog Sora, I have been very fortunate and privileged to have shown her children, grandchildren, and now great grandchildren to their AKC Championships and Grand Championships. I am immensely proud of my dogs accomplishments in the ring. Show ring training available.
Heidi the Dog Breeder
I breed Bull Terriers under the kennel name SoraBully’s Bull Terriers. Dogs are more then just a hobby, they are my heart. Raising healthy and happy Bull Terriers starts before one puppy is born. Training with Four on the Floor Dog Training gives you access to decades of not just dog training but health, grooming, and nutrition knowledge. I’ve lived with the reactive dogs, the dog aggressive dogs, and the flat out difficult ones. I was fortunate that my mentors in Bull Terriers are widely respected dog trainers and have shared their knowledge and experience with me. All of my “problem” dogs went on to have successful show careers and are living long and happy lives. My behavior programs offers support to you and your dog. Together we will set goals and achieve a better life for your dog.
Meet the Staff of Four on the floor
Our Mascot IchiBan
IchiBan is my sole inspiration for the Four on the Floor Dog Training. When I tell you I have been there with the hard dogs, IchiBan is living proof. To this day keeps she me honest and inspires me to help others who have an IchiBan in their life.
IchiBan died on April 10th, 2025 and left a huge hole in my heart. I simply adored every single spicy inch of her. Hers was a life well lived with no regrets, we should all be so lucky💜
Ki
Ki is IchiBan’s brother who as result of a dog attack at 10 months of age came to hate other dogs. He is a living testament to Reward based dog training and who my behavior modification program is based on. He was able to complete his AKC Championship and is officially Champion SoraBully’s Kang Kam Chan.
Ki died on November 29, 2022. His legacy will remain strong in every reactive dog that I train at Four on the Floor.
He is so very missed.
Sushi
One Miss Sushi Marie is in charge of all puppy taming and calming here at Four on the Floor Dog Training. Sushi’s ability to read other dogs and puppies is priceless. A mother herself, she offers calming signals to puppies that worry and without the raise of lip tell the brassy ones to slow down. I trust her with all of my heart and soul and her job here is one of the most valued. I truly treasure her and am so grateful to have her in my life.
I lost Sushi on April 24th, 2024 to cancer and I am devastated. She was everything and leaves a hole in my heart that will never be filled.
Fuji
Meet Sushi’s son Fuji. Fuji is in charge of the Swagger Department at Four on the Floor Dog Training. Fuji has the very important job of ignoring other dogs no matter what the distraction and is often called upon when working with reactive dogs who need a calming presence to learn. Fuji takes his job very seriously and is just my best boy ever.
Miki
Miki is also a Sushi baby and is charge of the romping and play department at Four on the Floor Dog Training. Miki is a chip off of the Sushi block and just adores meeting & greeting and of course playing with puppies and dogs. She is as sweet as her mother Sushi was her job of reading other dogs is invaluable. Love you Miki💜
Kabuki
We welcomed Junior Staff member Kabuki in 2024. She could not be happier and is crushing it in the show ring and in the romp and play department. Kabuki is pure joy and I worship her.
Bento Box
I am tickled to introduce our newest staff member Bento Box! Bento is working hard on keeping his ears up and is a member of our play and romp team on which he excels😉
